What do you think of when you think of Queen Victoria? I'm betting that you do not think recycling, or frugality. The truth is, however, who hated to waste, there was huge in the pomp and circumstance that gown might help, and was tremendously sentimental. These three factors combined to ensure reuse their wedding lace for the rest of his life.
wedding is what the scene looked like the February 10, 1840, when the young Queen Victoria married her cousin Prince Albert in the Chapel Royal, Santiago.

In comparison with other royal brides of the time, Victoria, dressed simply. He kept the jewelry to a minimum and the wedding prom dresses was based on English products, including its lace. In fact, it is widely believed that he ordered the whole wheel of Honiton lace skirt, narrow ruffle sleeves, veil, and a handkerchief before he even proposed to Albert. Whether or not certain, that no doubt had the lace in the village of beer under the direction of Miss Jane Bidney. It took about two hundred lace to create the set. When the cord is finished, she ordered destroyed for patterns that could not reproduce.

But that's not the end of the story.
