For the Out of the Box Bride, Papilio

If you, like me, love fashion wedding, just visit the Victoria and Albert Museum large photo database of used clothing for weddings between 1840 and present.

Reviewing the collection in its current state is the best part, but you can also participate in building the database of bridal images to upload their own wedding (and associations) from the past or the present. All we ask is that you include the year of the event and names of participants along with the location of the wedding, if possible. You can upload up to three images, with at least one that focuses on the details of the dress of the bride or the groom's suit.

Who knows, you could find - or give someone - the inspiration needed to plan the perfect wedding period!
