I can’t help but love this season more and more. If Tet simply meant getting to see everyone in their cute little traditional wear (especially the guys and their khan dong’s), I wouldn’t mind! Except….not really..what would Tet be without all of the food, the flower markets, the li xi’s (‘lucky’ New Year money in red envelopes), and then, of course, blowing it all on a crappy game of Bau Cua Tom Ca (a betting game)? Yes…even my shitty gambling skills have become an annual practice that people actually look forward to -____-. ANYWAY, with all personal comments aside, here’s a more covered-up Elly looking rather ….lovely (this season makes me so damn nice, its awkward) in a flowery ao dai accented by the garden’s real newly blooms.
