London Fashion Week: PPQ

One of London Fashion Week’s coolest front-rows lined up for the PPQ show at the Red Bull Fashion Factory, including Peaches and Pixie Geldof, Fearne Cotton – who wore gold tights AND gold ankle socks – Alexa Chung, Michelle Williams, Leigh Lezark, Annie Lennox’s daughters, Tali and Lola and Paul Weller’s daughters, Nathalie and Leah.




They were in for a treat. PPQ’s Amy Molyneux and Percy Parker featured an all-black cast of models, resplendent in 50s look fitted sheath-dresses, big picture hats, ruffled, off-the-shoulder, bra-bodices with pink and black spot joggers, multicoloured, striped knit dresses and an adidas T-shirt worn with pink lame MC Hammer trousers and zebra-print loafers.

The T-shirt marked PPQ’s new collaboration with adidas; they also have a new fashion venture to design lingerie for the figleaves website. Emerald silk ‘float’ coats, strapless candy-pink short-dresses trimmed with roses and a fringed bow, and a bright orange, 50s-meets Dynasty, taffeta peplum suit finale-ed the show, creating an SATC moment.
